before and after
i came across some pictures of me and mitchell from two summers ago...they made me sad, because i could feel how bloated and uncomfortable and unhealthy we both were. i much prefer the pictures we took this past week.
thank you so much Ethel! it feels great to be looking and feeling healthier day by day. it's funny that i haven't mentioned mitchell's weight loss much...it's featured very significantly in a magazine piece i've been working on so i guess i felt like i'd been writing about it here! well, more to come on all fronts.
Hi Carla, I saw your story in Glamour and you and your husband are an inspiration to me. My husband and I are both obese (morbidly I'm sure), and I have PCOS. I want to say congratulations on you and your husbands weightloss and I look forward to seeing your posts here on your blog. Way to go!!
Saw your article in Glamour and it really hit home for me. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember & have felt all those feelings that you wrote about in the article (shame, anger, guilt, etc). I pray that you and your husband maintain this healthy life that you have embarked upon :)
OMG are you guys gorgeous or what? You didn't mention that Mitchell was losing weight as well. I cannot believe the difference Carla.
ReplyDeleteCall me superficial, but there is nothing cooler than a photo of a young and healthy looking couple. Keep up the good work - both of you!!!!!
